Notebooks and reading glasses — tools for midlife women beginning their writing journey

What is book coaching?

Book coaching is personal, practical support for writers — at every stage of the journey.

Unlike a writing course or critique group, a book coach works one-on-one with you over time, helping you shape your book, strengthen your writing, and stay accountable to your goals.

It’s not about perfection. It’s about moving forward—with someone in your corner.

What I do as a Book Coach

As a certified book coach, I support writers who are serious about writing — even if they’re not sure where to start.

Whether you have a rough idea, a half-finished draft, or just a quiet longing to write something, I’ll help you:

  • Find clarity and focus in your story
  • Build sustainable writing habits
  • Get honest, constructive feedback (the kind that actually helps)
  • Overcome blocks, doubts, and perfectionism
  • And most of all: finish what you started

Why Work with a Certified Book Coach?

I trained through the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and Author Accelerator, the industry leader in book coach training. Their programme is rigorous and hands-on — over 200 hours of training and assessment, including real-world practicums with writers.

When you work with a certified coach, you’re working with someone who’s been trained to support both the writing and the writer.
